Privacy Policy
What we collect, and what never reaches us.
Last updated September 7, 2026. Questions: hello@posteddental.com.
1. Who we are
Posted Dental ("Posted", "we", "us") makes insurance posting software for dental practices that run Open Dental. We operate from Geis Dentistry, 6825 E Hampden Ave #200, Denver, CO 80224. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our communications with you, and how we use it.
2. What this policy covers, and what it does not
This policy covers posteddental.com, the demo requests and emails you send us, and demo and pilot conversations. It does not cover the Posted software itself once it is installed at a practice. That software runs on the practice's own server, inside the practice's network. It does not send patient information to us, and we have no access to a practice's database. How a practice handles its patients' information is governed by the practice's own policies, by law, and by the customer agreement between the practice and us, including a business associate agreement where one is required.
3. Information you give us
When you request a demo or write to us, we receive what you send: typically your name, your practice's name, your email address, a phone number if you include one, times that suit you, and anything you write in the message. We use it to reply, to schedule and run a demo, and, if you go ahead, to set up a pilot.
Please do not send patient information through this website or by email. The demo form and ordinary email are not designed to carry protected health information. If a conversation ever needs to touch patient records, we will agree a secure way to do it first, and a business associate agreement before anything is shared.
4. Information collected automatically
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) to serve and protect the site. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports aggregate page views, referrers and rough location without cookies, cross-site tracking, or identifying individual visitors.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising networks. The site sets no cookies of its own.
5. How we use information
- To answer you, schedule demos, and run pilots.
- To send service messages about a pilot or subscription you have.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.
- To comply with law and to protect our rights, our customers, and this site.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking. If we ever send something you did not ask for, reply and say so; it stops.
6. Who we share it with
Only with providers that help us run the site and talk to you, and only what they need: Cloudflare (hosting, email routing, analytics) and, if we add them, a scheduling or form provider named on the demo page. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy would still apply to it.
7. How long we keep it
Demo requests and correspondence are kept while we are talking and for up to 24 months after, unless you become a customer, in which case they are kept for the life of the relationship and a reasonable period after for our records. Server logs and analytics are retained by Cloudflare under its own schedule. Ask us to delete what we hold and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@posteddental.com. We honour these requests for everyone, whether or not a state privacy law such as the Colorado Privacy Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right. We will confirm your identity in a proportionate way and answer within 45 days.
9. Children
This is a business site for dental practices. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS with security headers set. We collect as little as possible, which is the best protection there is. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is another reason not to send patient information by email.
11. Other websites
Where we link to another site, its own policy applies there, not this one.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A material change will be called out on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
